Scott Miller began his music career in high school. Learning to play on an acoustic guitar that belonged to his mother, he began playing local clubs with the rock band “Gunshy.” After a layoff to attend school and play college baseball in Kansas, he returned to Arkansas, obtained his degree in Finance/Business, and began playing the club circuit again with his solo acoustic show and also as a freelance musician, adding vocals and playing guitar with several area bands, including “Bulletproof” and the successful duo “Kidd Miller.”
The result of these musical experiences is a diverse mix of country, rock, folk, blues, and trademark arrangements of America’s favorite sing-along songs. Influenced by the sounds of many performers that he covers in his shows, including artists such as The Eagles, James Taylor, Merle Haggard, and George Strait, Scott has also written some up-and-coming original music.
Currently, Scott is performing with the acoustic duo "Nothin' Fancy" and the band “The Wranglers,” who can be seen around the region and throughout the country. His versatility in playing both acoustic and electric guitar and his lead and backup vocals have taken these bands' sound to the next level.
Scott has been invited to share the stage with prominent acts such as Darryl Worley, Gary Allan, Easton Corbin, Casey Donahew, Josh Abbott Band, Deborah Allen, Randy Rogers Band, Wade Hayes, Steve Azar, Perfect Stranger, Pat Green, Johnny Lee, David Ball, Buddy Jewell, The Dixie Chicks, Charlie Robison, Joe Nichols, David Allen Coe, Todd Snider, and Jack Ingram.
